ROTARY Events - Gallery

Since 2015, 25 individual Clubs Bay-wide, three collaborative District 5150 events and one 4-Way District Annual Conference have engaged us to speak on human trafficking. Thank you especially to the Rotary Club of Terra Linda and to the District 5150 Governors who have offered their support, each time bringing the power of Rotary one step closer to ending this crime. Our larger community events sponsored by Rotary are listed here:

Our upcoming Rotary Events open to the Community:

2025.02.15 – “Banking, Climate Change, Corporate Accountability, and Human Trafficking” sponsored by Rotary District 5150 in collaboration with Wisdom International: Help2Others, everywhere via Zoom, 08:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. This is a free event but Registration is required.

Human trafficking is a terrible crime that has been hidden for far too long. Many of the traffickers’ methods have been exposed, while others lurk destructively behind masks of decency. Criminals take advantage any way they can. It is the vigilance and courage of everyday people that oftentimes tips the scales to expose yet another layer of the insidiousness that is human trafficking.

Join us to hear the stories of three such everyday people, each who has recognized the facts in their respective fields and taken action to expose, protect, and find justice for the survivors of the nefarious operations that they found.

You will hear about the abuse of banking systems by human traffickers and AI generated IDs used to open accounts; about the effect of climate change on human trafficking; about one law firm’s work to pursue justice for survivors by prosecuting large corporations and institutions; and about the disturbing new trend of “Nudify” websites.

A compact event with a lot of impact aimed at
protecting the vulnerable wherever and whomever they may be.

This program is hosted on Zoom and registration is required. There is no charge to attend but donations to our nonprofit’s “Prevention Before Harm” education are always welcome to help us continue to provide awareness events of this kind and trainings for individual clubs, schools and other establishments.
