• Methodical grooming: online or in-person
• Seduction (love), then Coercion: “You won’t? I’ll get your little sister/brother then.”
• Peer recruitment/Spotter – sometimes under control of the trafficker
• False advertising for jobs like “modeling”, “acting”, “dancing”
• Befriending through chat rooms, profile-sharing sites/gaming apps
• Watching pornography that normalizes rough sex
• Sometimes traffickers use violence, force, kidnapping
• Familiar people/neighbors/boy or girlfriends selling children
• Parents/Family selling children/siblings
